Car vs. Concrete Culvert

This accident involved a passenger car that left the road and went airborne, striking the concrete culvert and flipping onto it's top.  The passenger crawled from the vehicle and was found lying on the ground next to the car.  He was transported by ground to LCMC and treated for numerous injuries, including a pneumothorax.  He was eventually flown to Joplin, Mo.  The driver was pinned in the vehicle and after extrication was flown from the scene to Joplin.  He was treated for numerous injuries, also including a pneumothorax.  Both victims have recovered from their injuries and are doing well.
